You Can Study Engineering With Your Grade Nine Certificate At False Bay TVET College

The schooling landscape is evolving, and False Bay TVET College is at the forefront, recognizing that the traditional school model isn't the only efficient means of learning. False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are made available at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a 3-yr length.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These programs start off at NCV level 2 as well as the minimum prerequisite would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

When the student finishes NCVLevel two, they would then have attained a grade ten certificate. NCV Level 3 would be grade eleven and NCV Level 4 is grade 12.

NCV Level four is at the exit level, currently being tvet college engineering comparable to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade nine is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV level 2 and that is equivalent to an NQF level 2.
